Donation Fund Descriptions
- Adult Ed Fund: Helps support educational and social programming.
- Bikur Cholim Fund: Helps reach out to those in our community who are sick, shut in or otherwise in need of our care.
- Cemetery Fund: This fund helps sustain our cemeteries in a beautiful, dignified and respectful manner appropriate to a synagogue that values life by remembering its past.
- Chesed Fund: Helps with life cycle events providing meals to families sitting shivah or prayer books dedicated in a loved ones name.
- Eisenstein Library Fund: Helps sustain the Library and supports the purchase of new books and equipment.
- General Fund: Helps sustain Adath Israel programs and activities.
- Hazzan's Discretionary Fund:This fund is for the use of the congregation's Hazzan to distribute, as his or her discretion, in Temple-related affairs and operations.
- Kiddush Fund: Helps support the delicious Shabbat Kiddush luncheon program.
- Leon Siskowitz Cultural Fund: Helps the Memorial Fund established to support cultural events, concerts, lectures and speakers.
- Levy Youth Scholarship Fund: A scholarship fund for our Synagogue youth to attend Jewish related experiences during the school year as well as in the summer.
- Mortgage Reduction Fund: Helps offset the Adath Israel mortgage.
- Rabbi Adler's Discretionary Fund:This fund is for the use of the congregation's Senior Rabbi to distribute, as his or her discretion, in Temple-related affairs and operations.
- Religious School Fund: Helps support the programs and activities of the Adath Israel Religious School.
- Rudy Loewenstein Cornerstone Memorial Dedication
- Sacks-Wilner Holocaust Education Fund : Helps sustain holocaust educational programming & the Annual Sacks-Wilner Holocaust Education Lecture.
