High Holidays 5783/2022

We look forward to having you join us for our High Holy Day services, either in person or on Zoom. Call the Adath Israel Office 609-896-4977 for more information about attending.

Here are some of the COVID-related details you should know:

  • Masking policy will be announced soon, but we will likely require all in attendance to wear a N95/KN95 mask.
  • Services will be open for both in person and Zoom attendees.
  • We highly encourage any unvaccinated people to participate on Zoom.
  • While there will not be health screenings upon entering, we ask that you stay home and join us virtually if you feel sick or experience symptoms.
  • All of the walls separating the sanctuary and the social hall will be opened to allow for maximum space to spread out.
  • There will not be assigned seats or capacity limits, but we encourage attendees to be socially distanced to a level they are comfortable with.
  • Please share Adath’s guidelines with any guests you might bring.
  • Because of the uncertainty caused by the pandemic, we will not be assigning honors ahead of time. Instead, they will be handed out the day of services, as we do every Shabbat.
  • If you are interested in an honor, please contact the synagogue office. You can also let the greeters and/or ushers know you would like an honor when you arrive at services.
  • If you plan on participating on Zoom, you may come to Adath any time before the holidays to pick up a mahzor (High Holy Day prayer book).
