Purchasing a Plot
Purchasing a Plot
Our Adath Israel Congregation Cemetery Committee offers assistance to individuals in selecting and purchasing plots in advance of need, relieving families of the emotional and financial burden often associated with making these arrangements when a death occurs. We are also very willing to assist with the purchase at the time of need.
We own several serene cemeteries at two locations in Mercy County – one cemetery section at the Fountain Lawn Cemetery in Ewing, and six cemeteries at the Cedar Lane complex in Hamilton. See our cemetery information page for more.
We offer plots for sale at these locations – our Fountain Lawn Cemetery Section at 545 Eggert Crossing Road, Ewing, our Workman’s Circle, Branch 90 Cemetery at 210 Ridge Avenue, Hamilton, and our Ahavath Israel Memorial Cemetery also at 210 Ridge Avenue, Hamilton, and our four cemeteries at 132 Pitman Avenue, Hamilton.
Ours are well-maintained cemeteries offering a tranquil and dignified setting as a final resting place for loved ones, and you do not have to be an Adath member to purchase any of these burial plots.
Family members who wish to be buried next to each other may reserve burial locations in advance, in order to be buried where they wish.
Your plot purchase(s) includes the very valuable Perpetual Care** grave maintenance as defined below.
We encourage you to visit these properties, talk to our Director of Synagogue Operations, and plan for your future.
Adath handles the sale of plots in our cemeteries, while the funeral home you select is responsible for the burial services. The funeral home sets its own prices for these other important matters.
Please note: We are in the process of creating an interfaith section for Jewish and non-Jewish family members to be buried together at our Fountain Lawn Cemetery Section.
Our Current prices for plots are as follows:
Adath Member, Single Grave – $2,000
Non-Member, Single Grave – $3,000
Please contact our Director of Synagogue Operations at Adath’s office, 609-896-4977, for more information. Payment plans are available.
If you would like to make a tax-deductible gift to support this effort, you may make a donation online and select the “Cemetery Fund”, or you may send a check payable to Adath Israel Congregation, making a note that it is for our Cemetery Fund, and mail to:
